About Angela James

Since she could walk, Angela James has loved music.  Now at just sixteen years of age, Ms. James continues to deepen her love of music through writing and performing. Learning to navigate through difficult times, music has become a way of expression and hope, a hope that she willingly shares with others. With each note she sings, she is on a mission. Ms. James says, “I know a lot can be hidden behind a smile, music goes beyond that and gives hope to a heart that may be struggling. Depression, isolation, anxiety and even thoughts of suicide are all things that I’ve been through, and I hope my music will help others know they aren’t alone.”This young lady doesn’t seek fame or fortune with her gifts and talents. Her goal is simple: to lead people to an encounter with God that they didn’t even think about on their own.  Ms. James is leading people into a place of true worship. In a world where people are hurting, and music seems superficial, you’ll find that Ms. James lyrics, melody and worship is genuine, and sparks hope to those who listen. Raised in a Christian home, Ms. James has a firm foundation in her beliefs. She knows exactly who she is and what she was created to do. Response to her music and message have been overwhelmingly positive. But Ms. James’ goal is clear, that her music will help you connect to the one who created you.Angela James continues to perform, write and minister through music on Christian Television, Radio, Conferences, Churches, and various events. A native to Augusta, Georgia, Angela James endeavors to lift others and point them to the cross of Jesus.

"God never changes. He is the same yesterday today and forever. He was greater than circumstances in the past. He is greater than circumstances now. "

— Angela James

" I believe that God desires for us to go beyond our typical worship. He desires for us to get over just singing songs. He desires something radical."

— Angela James

" Just going to service on Sundays and Wednesdays isn’t good enough. If we want to see victory then what we do in the private place matters more than anything."
